UpQuantVal brings 19 partners from the Upper Rhine region together to create a world-class integrated cross-border ecosystem to foster education, research, specialised infrastructure, and technology and knowledge transfer in quantum sciences and technologies.

UpQuantVal is supported by the European Union as part of the Interreg Upper Rhine program. It builds on several successful national and European initiatives in which the partners of the UpQuantVal consortium have played a leading role or made a decisive contribution. It demonstrates the added value of genuine cross-border collaboration between stakeholders in research, development and innovation and positions the Upper Rhine Valley as one of the most competitive and attractive regions in Europe within the highly strategic and industrially relevant field of quantum technologies.
